About this studio
Wisconsin's elite dance facility.
Artistic Edge Dance Centre was founded by Shelly Tosh in 2018, with Christa Smutek serving as Artistic Director. Now in its 9th season, Artistic Edge has become a driving force training the next generation of dancers in Wisconsin's Lake Country, offering classes for ages 3 through 18 in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and hip hop, alongside a competitive company, drop-in workshops, and intensives.
Artistic Edge was honored with the Regional Outstanding Studio Award from NYCDA, with dancers earning individual Outstanding Dancer titles across every division — Mini, Junior, Teen, and Senior — plus multiple Critics' Choice Award wins, including two highest-scoring routines. The studio's faculty brings credits from Joffrey Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
