About this studio
Huntington Dance Theatre is a non-profit dance school and community-based performing arts company, open to all area dancers with scholarships available for anyone who needs them. HDT offers programs for every dancer, including Boys In Motion, Grown Up and Me, and the HDT Company for more advanced students, all built around real ballet fundamentals blended with contemporary style.
Founded in 1981, HDT is known for its beloved annual production of The Huntington Nutcracker and a welcoming culture that treats every dancer like family — "very welcoming to dancers of all abilities," as one parent put it.
