At Stepping Stone Dance Studio, we believe dance is about so much more than learning steps—it’s about building confidence, creating friendships, discovering your passion, and finding a place where you truly belong.
For over 15 years, Stepping Stone Dance Studio has provided a welcoming, positive, and encouraging environment where dancers of all ages and abilities can learn, grow, and shine. Our philosophy is simple: Everyone is loved, and everyone belongs.
We are proud to be a non-competitive dance studio that focuses on quality dance education while giving every student opportunities to perform and experience the excitement of being on stage. We offer classes for dancers ages 3 through adult in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Acro, Musical Theatre, Performance Cheer, and more.
Our experienced and caring instructors are committed to helping each dancer develop strong technique while encouraging confidence, creativity, teamwork, and a lifelong love of dance.
From a dancer’s very first class to their senior year and beyond, Stepping Stone becomes more than a dance studio—it becomes a second home.

Our Faculty
At Stepping Stone Dance Studio, our faculty is truly the heart of our studio. Our talented, experienced, and dedicated instructors share one common goal—to help every dancer feel confident, supported, challenged, and loved from the moment they walk through our doors.
Our teachers bring experience in a wide variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Acro, Musical Theatre, Performance Cheer, and more. They are committed to providing quality dance education while creating classes that are positive, encouraging, and FUN!
But what makes our faculty so special goes far beyond dance technique. Our teachers take the time to know their students, celebrate their accomplishments, encourage them through challenges, and help them recognize their own potential. They understand that every dancer learns differently and that success looks different for every child.
We believe a great dance teacher teaches much more than choreography. Our faculty strives to be positive role models who teach confidence, teamwork, responsibility, kindness, perseverance, and respect.
Whether a dancer is taking their very first class or preparing for their final senior performance, our faculty is there cheering them on every step of the way.

Notable Alumni
Stepping Stone Dance Studio is incredibly proud of the many dancers who have grown up within our studio and carried the lessons they learned here into the next chapters of their lives.
Over the past 15 years, SSDS dancers have gone on to continue their dance education, participate in college dance programs and performance opportunities, pursue careers in the performing arts and education, and become teachers and mentors themselves. We are especially proud when former students return to Stepping Stone to teach, choreograph, assist, or simply visit the studio that was such an important part of their childhood.
While we celebrate our alumni who continue pursuing dance and the performing arts, we are equally proud of every former student who takes the confidence, discipline, teamwork, friendships, and memories they gained at SSDS into their future.
To us, being a notable Stepping Stone alumnus isn't about becoming famous—it's about becoming a confident, kind, hardworking person and remembering where some of those first steps began.
