About this studio
Our mission at SJDC is to share our passion of the arts with dancers of all ages. We strive to teach our students in a positive environment, while ensuring our classes are structured and geared to give our students the skills to understand and love the art of dance.
We are the home of South Jersey Dance Company! This is a competitive team built of dancers in our studio who are interested in diving more into enhancing their skillset. We require hard work, dedication, and team work! This team competes throughout the year at competitions and conventions in and out of state. Auditions are typically held towards the end of May for the next season.

Our Faculty
South Jersey Dance Center is led by Owner and Director Shaelyn Wilson, supported by a dedicated team of instructors who guide dancers from their first class through South Jersey Dance Company, the studio's competitive team. The faculty brings a shared commitment to structured, positive instruction — helping every dancer build real technical skill alongside a genuine love for the art.
