Dance Alliance is committed to excellence in dance education for students of all abilities and future intentions, purchased in 2004 by well-known dancers and choreographers Adam B. Clark and Lisa Darby Clark. Adam trained at the world-renowned Gus Giordano Dance Center in Chicago, while Lisa studied with the acclaimed dance faculty at the University of Michigan — both bringing decades of real professional performing and teaching experience to Saline.
The Dance Alliance Repertory Company (DARC), the studio's competitive team, challenges serious dancers in a supportive environment — alumni have gone on to collegiate training, professional careers, and performances on cruise ships, Off Broadway, in Vegas, in music videos, on television, and in film. Dance Alliance has also staged its beloved annual Nutcracker production since 1998.
