About this studio
Where Quality Is Always Valued Over Quantity
Haja Dance Company has been Monroe County's #1 Pre-Professional Program since 2008, based in Newport, Michigan. Where athleticism meets artistry, Haja values quality over quantity — training elite competitive dancers ages 4 through 18 in Contemporary, Lyrical, and Jazz, alongside Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Acro/Tumbling, and Dance Team/Pom skills.
Haja's dancers are prepared not just for competition, but for college dance program auditions, dance team recruitment, and commercial dance opportunities. The company competes at 4 regional competitions, 2 conventions, and 1 nationals event each year, with company placement kept intentionally selective — no more than 55 dancers accepted across the Elite, Mini, and Futures Companies combined.
