About this studio
Inspiring growth and discipline through quality dance education
Mt Pleasant School of Dance welcomes dancers of all ages and experience levels, led by Owner and Artistic Director Andrea Purrenhage. MPSD offers ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, and more, whether a student is dancing for fun or training seriously — every dancer enrolled in class performs in the studio's annual recital each May.
Dancers can also audition for MPSD Company, the studio's competitive team, and audition or perform in Nutcracker Reimagined, MPSD's original December production blending tap, jazz, hip hop, and ballet based on Tchaikovsky's holiday classic.
