Our Faculty
Body Language Dance Company is led by founder Casie Vaughn-Ryan, who opened the studio in 2001 teaching out of a single classroom, growing it into a team of 17 adult instructors. BLDC's faculty regularly attends dance conventions, teacher conferences, and seminars to stay current, and the studio is certified in both Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique — nationally recognized training methodologies.
Notable Alumni
BLDC alumni have gone on to study dance at Point Park University, North Carolina School of the Arts, Florida State University, and the Boston Conservatory, among other respected programs, with others performing at Walt Disney World and in Radio City's Christmas Spectacular in New York City — a real testament to the strength of BLDC's training foundation.
