About this studio
Hearts in Motion Dance Project was created in 2010 with one simple goal: to give every student the opportunity to enjoy dance. What began as informal Saturday drop-in classes grew into a full studio, now in its 17th season, with a satellite location for students 10 and under in downtown Ada. HMD offers developmental, age-appropriate programming across many styles, alongside a real award-winning competition team, all while staying true to a family-friendly, every-dancer-matters philosophy.
HMD is a More Than Just Great Dancing (MTJGD) certified studio and YPAD certified, meaning all staff are trained in safe, socially and emotionally supportive dance practices, First Aid/CPR certified, and background checked. This season, HMD's competition team won the ADCC Studio of Excellence Award — presented to one studio per competition for exceptional sportsmanship and community — at every single group competition it attended.
