Detroit-Windsor Dance Academy

Detroit-Windsor Dance Academy (DWDA) is a nonprofit institution dedicated to transformative dance education, offering ballet, acro, jazz, hip-hop, and more for dancers of every age, plus a 10-Month Adult Workshop. DWDA's Dancer I.Q. curriculum teaches alignment, vocabulary, dance history, and anatomy alongside technical training, building strength, grace, and artistic expression in every student.

For over 30 seasons, DWDA has earned critical acclaim across five continents — performing from Cape Town to Sydney, and from New York City to California. Advanced students train in the studio's Pre-Professional Jr. Company and Second Company, and the academy holds its beloved Annual Concert on the historic Music Hall stage in Detroit, where many stars have performed.
