About this studio
Caledonia Dance & Music Center has served the Caledonia, Kentwood, Hastings, Wayland, and Byron Center communities for over 20 years, offering dance, music, and acro across 5 dance studios and 100+ weekly classes for ages 2-18. CDMC was named among the Best of Grand Rapids in 2025, and is a YPAD Certified studio with a full-time admin staff and background-checked teachers.
CDMC's guiding philosophy is simple: "We don't teach kids to make great dancers, we teach dance to make great kids." Beyond weekly classes, CDMC's CAST leadership program lets tweens and teens mentor younger dancers, building confidence and character alongside technique.
