Studio 61 Dance Company is a privately owned, award-winning dance studio in Cooper City, Florida, dedicated to inspiring extraordinary dancers and nurturing exceptional individuals. For nearly 2 decades, Studio 61 has provided high-quality dance education in a supportive, challenging, and community-centered environment.
Serving dancers ages 2 1/2 to 18, Studio 61 offers recreational and advanced training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, acro, breaking, turns into leaps, and more, along with specialized performance and competitive programs and master classes
At the heart of Studio 61 is the belief that excellence and dance extends far beyond technique. Dancers are encouraged, develop character, discipline, confidence, accountability, respect, and a strong work ethic; qualities that will serve them both on and off the stage.
With experienced educators, diverse training, opportunities, nationally recognized competitive programs, and a strong sense of belonging, Studio 61 provides a place for dancers at every level to be challenged, supported, celebrated, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

Our Faculty
Studio 61’s faculty is made up of passionate, experienced educators committed to developing dancers through exceptional training, mentorship, and genuine care. Our instructors bring expertise across a wide range of styles and disciplines while sharing a common commitment to continued growth, collaboration, and excellence in dance education.
More than teachers, our faculty members serve as mentors and role models who understand that how we teach matters just as much as what we teach. They challenge dancers to reach their potential while creating an environment where students feel supported, valued, and inspired.
Through our resident faculty and opportunities to train with respected guest artists and choreographers, Studio 61 dancers are exposed to diverse perspectives, styles, and experiences. Together, our faculty strives to develop strong, versatile dancers while reinforcing the character, confidence, discipline, and work ethic that extent far beyond the studio.

Notable Alumni
Studio 61 is proud to see our alumni continue their journeys well beyond our walls. Former dancers have pursuit collegiate and professional opportunities across the country, including Pace University’s Commercial Dance Program, the LSU Tiger Girls, FSU Golden Girls, UCF Dance Team, FIU Dazzlers, the Florida Panthers Ice Dancers, and the Miami Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders.
Alumni have earned collegiate national championship titles, performed in nationally, recognized, collegiate and professional teams, and continued into commercial dance, choreography, entertainment, and dance education.
Their paths are diverse, and we are equally proud of each one. Whether performing professionally, dancing at the collegiate level, teaching, creating, or pursuing careers beyond dance, our alumni carry forward, the confidence, discipline, versatility, character, and work ethic developed during their years at Studio 61.
