About this studio
New Canaan Dance Academy in New Canaan was founded in 2001 by Elaine Young and offers classes for dancers ages 2 through adult in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, hip hop, and creative movement. The academy has four studios across two Forest Street locations. Its competitive Company Team, which began in 2005, includes about 85 dancers ages 6-18.
