8 Count Dance Academy

8 Count Dance Academy has been West Los Angeles' premier dance studio since 2009, with over 650 students from Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Westwood, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, and across the Westside. Under the direction of owners Sarah D'Agostino and Sarah Svendsen, 8 Count offers classical ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and acro for dancers ages 18 months through 18 years, emphasizing hard work, dedication, and dancer unity.

8 Count fields 13 competitive teams at the Performance and Company levels, competing regionally and nationally, with auditions held each summer. The studio's state-of-the-art facility includes four large dance rooms with sprung Harlequin flooring and Marley overlays, designed to reduce injury and enhance performance.
