The Six Compound is a premier 13,000 sq. ft. facility in Studio City, founded by Academy Award-winning actress and producer Charlize Theron alongside Directors Latrina Bolger-Washington and Tyrell Washington. Housed across two stories with 7 state-of-the-art studios, LED mirrors, and professional sprung floors, The Six Compound trains youth and adults for real careers in the entertainment industry — blending classical technique with commercial dance, acting, and vocal training across an extraordinary range of styles, from ballet and pointe to hip hop, breaking, jazz funk, ballroom, and aerial arts.
Students can choose the path that fits them — dropping in for individual classes through the Mindbody app, or enrolling in structured programs like the Competition Team or Mini Competition Company. Beyond weekly classes, the studio offers career-focused training including acting for dancers, vocal expression, and Pilates for professional dancers, reflecting a mission built around real entertainment careers, not just competition trophies.
