Dance Connection Scottsdale

Dance Connection Scottsdale is led by Owner Lisa Waddell, who has taught dance for over 40 years since co-founding the studio with her sister. The faculty is genuinely extraordinary: Company Director DeQuan Lewis trained at the University of Arizona and performed professionally with Doug Varone & Dancers; Christina Spigner spent over a decade as a company member of Miami City Ballet, personally hired by New York City Ballet legend Edward Villella; and ballet instructor Tzu-Chia Chu danced principal roles with Ballet Arizona and was praised by The New York Times for her performance in Balanchine's Prodigal Son.

The team also includes guest choreographer Aspen Waddell, a Joffrey Ballet School and Broadway Dance Center faculty member who has worked with Gwen Stefani and choreographed for Good Morning America and New York Fashion Week, alongside instructors with credits spanning Radio City Music Hall, the Grammys, the Emmy Awards, and America's Got Talent.
